CoatStrip HD — Heavy-Duty Paint & Coating Remover

Description

Bring the heavy-duty option

Some coatings need more than a routine stripping treatment. CoatStrip HD is the heavier-duty companion to CoatStrip, for demanding industrial paint and coating removal.

Use it for suitable tough coating systems, including powder coatings, on compatible substrates. The job starts with a test patch to establish how the coating responds.

Plan the removal around the actual job

Two surfaces that look alike can carry very different coatings. Use the test result to plan application, contact time and removal. HD identifies the stronger grade; it is not a promise that every coating will come off in one pass.

Key benefits

• Heavy-duty grade for demanding stripping projects.
• For suitable industrial paint and powder coating systems.
• Brush or suitable spray application.
• A companion to standard CoatStrip for product selection by task.

Application guidance

Test on a clean, dry area of the actual component. Apply according to the technical data sheet and allow the coating to lift. Scrape away the released layers and reapply where necessary. Follow the prescribed final cleanup before the next finishing step.
